LESTER LOOKS TO CONQUER THE MONSTER MILE

The Dover International Speedway is nick-named the ‘Monster Mile’ because of it’s fast roller coaster like banking and the incredible speed the one-mile concrete race track produces. These are the aspects of the race track that make it a favorite among many of the NASCAR fans and drivers alike. One such driver, Bill Lester would like to conquer the Monster Mile. He will join the rest of the of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers as they head to the famed one-mile track this weekend for the Allstate 200 Friday June 1.
Lester will take to the track in the No. 15 Christian Debt Consolidation Billy Ballew Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado for his sixth career start at the Dover, Delaware racetrack that doubles as Dover Downs Horse Racing and Casino complex. His best start at the one-mile concrete surface track was seventh in 2005 with a best finish of 11th in 2003.
“I enjoy running at Dover." Lester said. “The track is grueling and I can't imagine what it's like to race 500 miles there on a hot day, but its fun because it's like a roller coaster. When you drive it, it feels like you rise up going into the corner, the bottom falls out when dive down into the corner and then you pop out again when exiting the corner. It's challenging because you really have to exercise throttle management off the corners as opposed to just being able to matt-it coming off. The other thing about Dover is it's self-cleaning (like Bristol). In other words, everything falls to the bottom, so you know whenever there’s a wreck the safest place to be is in the high line.
Billy Ballew Motorsports also announced today that Christian Debt Consolidation will again be onboard as the Primary Sponsor on the No. 15 in Dover and Michigan and three additional races to be announced at a later date.

The race will be broadcast live on MRN Radio and their affiliate stations beginning at 4:45pm ET with same day tape delayed television coverage on SPEED beginning at 8:00pm ET.
