Lester Looks For Redepmtion in Texas

Fort Worth, TX(June 6, 2007) -After a lap-one accident took Bill Lester and the No. 15 Christian Debt Consolidation Chevrolet Silverado out of contention last week at Dover International Speedway, Lester heads to Texas Motor Speedway looking for redemption.

Lester has ten previous starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at the 1.5-mile speedway, with a best start of second in the fall race in 2005 and a best finish of 11th in both 2002 and 2005. Lester looks to break into the top-10 this weekend in the Billy Ballew Motorsports entry for the running of the Sam’s Town 400. Ballew has ten starts at the speedway with a best start of second in 2006 and a best finish of second in 2004.

“We really showed how well this team is coming together last weekend in Dover,?? Lester said. “Unfortunately, getting caught up on a lap one accident didn’t give us the opportunity to show how good the truck was. I didn’t have the greatest qualifying run, starting in 18th, but I knew we had a top-five truck. I like the track at Texas, its fast with lots of room to pass. Track position is important so I plan on putting us up front in qualifying so we avoid another lap-one incident. The communication among all of us is really good and growing by the day. Having the opportunity to work with Kyle Busch, Kelly Sutton and some of the other drivers that have been in the No. 51 truck has benefited us all by keeping those communication lines flowing between us on truck set-ups. This Christian Debt Consolidation Billy Ballew Motorsports team has been just awesome to work with and I would like nothing more then to bring home my first win and their first victory of the season this week in Texas.

Billy Ballew Motorsports and Bill Lester join the NASCAR family in mourning the death of NASCAR pioneer Bill France, Jr. sending their condolences to his family.

“When I first met Mr. France he knew exactly who I was." Lester said. “He never missed a step on what was happening in his series. Mr. France was such a pleasant man, one that commands respect and one that receives it. His visions of the sanctioning body have really taken NASCAR from a small entity to a multimillion dollar business. He will surely be missed by all in the NASCAR Family.
